Edo PDP Chairman Reportedly Kidnapped

Ahead of the upcoming Governorship election coming up in Edo state, the Chairman of the ruling party; Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi, has been reportedly kidnapped.

The incident occurred as he was taking a routine walk outside his residence.

 

According to a family member who disclosed the information on Saturday morning, wishing to remain anonymous, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi was abducted outside his house, raising alarm and tension among his associates and the political community in Edo State.

Dr. Tony Aziegbemi, a former member of the House of Representatives, is a prominent figure within the political landscape of Edo State and his sudden disappearance has sent shockwaves through the state’s political circles.

As of the time of compiling this report, neither the family nor the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has received any communication from the abductors regarding their demands or the condition of Dr. Tony Aziegbemi.
